Moss control

Moss is a non-vascular plant that forms dense green mats. Unlike grass, it has no true roots; it anchors itself with tiny rhizoids. It thrives in shady, damp and compacted soils, exactly the conditions where grass struggles.

Moss competes with grass for space, water and nutrients and can spread quickly. Its presence often points to underlying issues such as poor drainage, low soil fertility or limited sunlight.

Moss is treated as part of our seasonal lawn treatment plans. However, it doesn’t just grow in the lawn, so we do offer this as a standalone treatment for driveways and patios.
